At a regional level, IFMA works in close collaboration with 3 competitiveness clusters:
- ViaMéca, oriented towards the development of mechanical industrial activity
- Innoviandes, whose aim is to improve the competitiveness of companies in the meat industry
- Céréales Vallée, focused on innovation in the cereals sector.
For ViaMéca, IFMA and its Technology Transfer Centre are quality partners on an almost daily basis. IFMA has active partnerships with ViaMéca member companies on 70 to 80 projects every year. These projects, proposed by SMEs, are administered via our Méc@prod Technology Transfer platform.
IFMA research teams work with Innoviandes on questions concerning meat cutting technologies, flow management and logistics.
As for Céréales Vallée, the agri-foods economic sector is in need of industrialisation, and IFMA teams are very active, helping companies to be competitive in this field.
