At IFMA, we know that an engineer's career will inevitably have international aspects, which is why international mobility has always been a strong point at our school. We are now working to reinforce even more the intercultural approach.

 

IFMA's international culture is:
  •   100% international mobility in industry for a minimum of 5 months
  •   Varied international internship choices (engineering assistant – final engineering project)
  • Double diploma option (project underway with European partner universities)
  • Possibility of an international gap year
  • 2 obligatory foreign languages (English + German or Spanish or Italian)
  • Chinese 3rd language option
  • Intercultural human resources and management courses
  • 18% of our teaching staff are of foreign origin
  • Regular hosting of visiting international teachers and researchers
  • Over 20 international PhD students every year in our research laboratories

International association

Making student engineers aware of different cultures, giving them a taste for international activities and a spirit of curiosity and open-mindedness, reinforcing co-operation with international universities and industrial partners – these are the objectives of the IFMA International Team, which organises theme evenings, welcomes international students and participates in the organisation of the IFMA International Days.

 

The students of the 5 members of the Clermont Université College of Engineering (ENITA, ENSCCF, IFMA, ISIMA, POLYTECH) collaborate in various events during the International Days, which include conferences with international guests, round tables, seminars by IFMA alumni from around the world, an International Evening, the IFMA ex-pats' Forum, international sports, pub quiz, photo exhibitions, etc.
