The IFMA Foundation
04/27/09
Because today's IFMA students are the high-level engineers of tomorrow, the Foundation of the French Institute for Advanced Mechanics provides resources to enable the Institute to anticipate the trends and future needs of companies.
The IFMA Foundation, created in 1991, pursues the objectives laid down at its inception, and formalised in its charter:
- To favour the personal development of student engineers, in particular by giving them the academic means to combine their studies with their passion for practical applications.
- To maintain close contact with enterprises in order to anticipate their expectations in terms of the skills of their future engineers.
- To ensure that companies' needs are taken into account in the Institute's academic programme: evolution of teaching methods and management techniques, technological advances, etc.
- To participate in the elaboration of strategy for teaching, research, recruitment of students, training and recruitment of Institute personnel.
- To develop and maintain a privileged relational network with companies, IFMA engineers and other associated persons.
- To contribute to the Institute's operation by financing specific actions.
